Erin
It all started back in 2012 when I was introduced to coaching in the fitness world. My background was in elementary education, and I quickly realized that coaching adults fitness wasn’t all that different from teaching kids. My goal for my students was always to help them leave feeling better than when they walked in—and that’s exactly my motto for my athletes: for them to leave feeling better, stronger, and fitter. My strength lies in connecting with athletes, helping them push past their comfort zones, and breaking things down in a way that’s easy to understand. Since 2012, I’ve earned my ACE Personal Training Certification, CrossFit Level 1 Training Certification (along with specialty certifications in CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Endurance, and CrossFit Striking), Trigger Point Therapy, First Aid, and CPR. I’ve competed in local CrossFit competitions, three marathons and a half-marathon, Spartan and Tough Mudder races, and tennis and Pickleball tournaments. I love all things fitness—and Hyrox is next! I recently joined the BFT coaching staff after falling in love with the programming, the functionality of BFT’s model, and the friendly, supportive vibe that the community and staff bring to every class. When I’m not taking a class at BFT, you can find me personal training, playing Pickleball, enjoying a glass of wine, or watching my daughter, Kylie (17), cheer or my son, Ashton (21), share his latest Aggie Bass Fishing Team post from A&M. If you want to see how far you can push yourself and exceed your goals, come see me! I’d love to share my passion for fitness with you.
